The Just In Time Foundation (JIT) promotes educating young people in Academic Excellence who live in the Houston zip code areas of 77021 & 77051. We would like to aid these students in obtaining a postsecondary education. The goal of the scholarship program is to provide assistance to outstanding students who plan to continue their education.
Student must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Student must be enrolled in a public high school located in the Southeast part of Houston. Currently, zip code areas 77021 or 77051. Student must have applied to an accredited college or university as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours per term) and must be accepted at the accredited college or university before the scholarship will be awarded. Strength of Character-as evidenced by: service to school and community; letters of recommendation; personal essay; and interview. Strong Scholastic Ability-an ACT or SAT score and GPA that will allow the student to be accepted in an institution of higher learning.
